About the event
We plan to have 2 divisions, kids under 16 and an adult division. Teams will consist of up to 4 people and teammates must be from
the same age group.
The only materials allowed in the construction of your boat are cardboard, duct tape, adhesive and water-based paint. Corrugated cardboard may be used, but it cannot have any wax, resin or vinyl coating. Decorations can be made of any material, but should not help the boat stay afloat or keep its structure together.
There will be an entry fee donation of $25 per boat, and there will be a “betting” donation opportunity for spectators, as well as raffles. Awards will be given for the top three boats in each division! Proceeds from the event will benefit Seeds of Hope.
Come out to the Lauderdale Landing June 29th at 1:00 PM and have a blast supporting the Cardboard Captains!
